Conditioned space RNG
Lynn McTaggart’s Intension Experiment Ch 8: the right place discusses William Tiller's experiments with what he calls “conditioned space”.
The idea of a “conditioned space”
has also been explored in conjunction with the use of Random Number Generators
(RNGs)
Former PEAR scientist
Roger Nelson carried a portable RNG to sacred sites, and found that the RNG
gave less random (more ordered) results. This suggested to him that a permanent
"field consciousness" due to intense emotion, effected the RNG.
Dean Radin used REGs to investigate
whether healing can condition the space in which it is carried out. The results
appeared to support this hypothesis.
The REG’s movement
away from registering randomness to greater order is said to imply that the
Zero Point energy of empty space has shifted to a state of greater coherence.

However, the paper titled
Global Consciousness Project: An
Independent Analysis of The September 2001 Events, by Edwin C. May, PhD,
and S. James P. Spottiswoode, B. Sc, provides a respectful in depth analysis of
the famed RNG results of 9/11/01, which appear to show a decrease in randomness
hours before, during, and after the attacks of 9/11/01.
The analysis appears
to show that the positive results are as much an artifact of the methods of
statistical analysis as they are proof of global consciousness. The authors
tactfully conclude that they remain unconvinced of the phenomenon of global
consciousness as manifest by the RNG. [i]
